FALL FEST - Special Event
On HALLOWEEN, October 31 (during the Farmer's Market!), the Fall Fest event gets even better! Scarecrows will be moved to The Museum on Main for a full display from 10am-2pm. If you voted for your favorite scarecrow between October 18-30, you could win it and take it home! Purchase additional raffle tickets at the Museum or Studio 7 for $1 each to try to win a scarecrow. Proceeds benefit future Fall Fest events.
THERE'S MORE! A carved-pumpkin contest will be held at the Museum too! This is something you can get really involved in! We're asking everyone (that means YOU) to bring their already-carved pumpkin between 9am and 10am. There will be three age catergories; 10 and under, 11-17, and 18 and up. We'll also have a "Best in Show" winner! Pumpkins will be judged by the public between 10am-2pm(if you vote for your favorite pumpkin, you get a free scarecrow raffle ticket!) and the winners will recieve merchant or downtown gift cards! Winners will be announced at 2:15pm.
WAIT, there's MORE! You can also enjoy desserts from downtown restaurants between 11am-2pm... in the Fall Dessert Contest! For $5 per ballot, you'll be able to taste AMAZING desserts from some great downtown locations... mmmmmm. You also get to choose the best baker! Pick up your ballot at the Museum or Studio 7.
