1ST WEDNESDAY STREET PARTY... Dog Days of Summer! - 1st Wednesday Street Party

What better way to celebrate than with a street party and a Pooch Parade! This month's featured bands are Public Eye and Ruckatan!.

Take time to shop and dine in the many unique shops and restaurants in historical downtown Pleasanton, then take a stroll down the middle of Main Street and visit a wide variety of businesses,who will have booths set up market and sell their products and services. Learn more about local community and nonprofit groups who will feature information about their organizations.

You won't want to miss the annual Pooch Parade brought to you by the Tri Valley Guide Dog Puppy Raisers. Pretty your pup for the Pooch Parade! Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. at Wayside Park (corner of First and Neal Streets). $10 entry fee per category. All proceeds benefit Tri Valley Guide Dog Puppy Raisers. NEW ADDITION TO THE STREET PARTY... Join us at the north end of Main Street in front of Oasis to the Main Street Brewery for a GoodGuys car show and live music by RUCKATAN! Lot of seating! Grab something to-go from one of the many restaurants located on the north block. This is the newest part of the event. Come up and see what's happening!

Main Street will be closed from Del Valle Parkway to Old Bernal Avenue from 4:30pm to 10pm. There will be plenty of off-Main Street parking available.
